OUR CHICKS NOW!
Hi Brent & Family,
Here are the pictures of cockatiel babies that I have right now.
The white one isn't looking to healthy at the moment so that is why I didn't send the picture of the bird.  Anyhow,  These chicks are very young yet and might be weaned out by 4 weeks.  Its a tricky thing to say for sure when they will be ready since all chicks wean differently.

Anyhow, also wanted to mention.  Once you add another cockatiel to your family and you set up the pair as a breeding pair.  You will loose Kramer as a pet.  He will bond with the female and will no longer want to be with you.  This happens once they start breeding, the bonding is incredible.  Also, there is so much at risk once you start the breeding process.  The risks are high when you set up a young female, alot of problems arise.  Also are you prepared to feed chicks if parents abandon them.  Its every two hours around the clock.  Also you can loose the female to egg binding.  Its not as easy as it looks I promise you.  You might want to reconsider maybe another species of bird, so that you won't loose Kramer as your pet.   Oh also once they start breeding you will not be able to handle both birds.  They turn back wild and if you think you can open that nest box to view the chicks let me tell you something, those cockatiels are very protective over chicks and nestbox.  They bite to the bone.  I have to wear gloves to retrieve chicks.
I have to put all this out there because its alot to consider.  I know your bird is very much a part of your family, and you take him everywhere.  You will not beable to do those things once he gets a mate.
These are young babies still handfeeding now. They are four weeks old.  They are Cinnamon Pearl Cockatiels.  Not sure on the sex at this point.
